Boutique Grade II Cottage - Heart of Alnwick

Good location Positive: Brilliant location, and in part a lovely cottage, from the front. The back is not attractive at all. The children enjoyed the games room, and TV channels. Lovely bathroom Parking outside cottage. Very short ride to Alnwick Castle, could walk if able. Though some small issues, it was good value. Negative: Cottage just in need of abit of tlc Kitchen area looks grubby because of ill fitting cupboards, the floor is not nice at all. The freezer door on the fridge wouldn't close. There was 4 logs in the basket for fire, barely any firelighters. We used those first night. You are asked to replace them, very unusual, we couldnt find a shop with logs so no fire 2nd night, but I bought a large box of firelighters, and left those. We were only given 1 hand towel for 4 people, probably a mistake. It's a small double bed, not overly comfortable, but we didn't sleep well Stairs could be a challenge to anyone physically impaired.
